Angela Grant is one of a trio of performing sisters; the others are Rebecca Grant (Holby City) and Rachel Grant (Die Another Day). She was trained from an early age at Elmhurst Ballet School and then at the London Studio Centre.
She started teaching ballet overseas in 1998 and opened the Angela Grant School of Dance in West London in 2003. The School commenced its classes at The Park Club in East Acton Lane (W3) and in 2009 expanded its ballet classes to cover additional locations in East Acton (W3) and Wendell Park (near Bedford Park and Turnham Green) in Chiswick (W12), all in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and within a few minutes from Shepherd’s Bush and Ealing.
The Angela Grant School of Dance is focussed entirely on teaching classical ballet to children from 2 years old through to young adults. We pride ourselves first and foremost on making ballet lessons enjoyable and memorable.
Children may start at any age from 2 1/2, and with any experience or ability; we will find the right ballet class for them. Lessons are always conducted in the correct ballet attire and last 30 minutes for the very young children and 45 minutes for the rest.
Please see the Locations and Timetables page for more information.
Every year, students may take part in various school performances. These may include summer shows at the Park Club's Summer Festival, local Acton events, and periodically the main School Recital.
This is a full scale production in West London, set in a theme or a story and normally featuring performances by a guest star from one of the major ballet companies.
These are always extremely well received by the families and it is very apparent how much all the children enjoy being the stars of a real ballet performance. Do please see the Gallery page for photos of our recent recitals.
Do please call Angela on 07813 296221 should you wish to learn more about the school. We look forward to meeting you. More information is available on the Contact Us page. References and testimonials upon request.
